Earlier this month I chatted with one of the editors at MyRecipes.com and learned that the site was going to get a new, more streamlined homepage.
Well, that also means the "You've Got To Taste This" blog is currently inactive so I'm sad to say won't be able to share any new posts here.
The blog has been archived on the site here.

MyRecipes.com June Blog Post
This week's theme is kitchen tools and gadgets so I wrote about a product that helps keep a cook's most important kitchen tool at its best.

Online Section Update
I wrote a small update on my Online page sharing a few details about my social media responsibilities at MyRecipes.com. I really enjoyed the work that I did promoting the brand and I hope I'll get to do more of the same in the future. If you'd like to know a little more about my experience, please feel free to contact me!

MyRecipes.com May Update
I contributed two posts to the You've Got to Taste This blog in May, both about very different topics.
The first week of May centered around food memories so I chose to share a Butterscotch Pie recipe that my grandparents, especially my grandfather, really loved.
Later in the month our theme was kitchen shortcuts and timesavers. Though most people would think of gadgets or pre-chopped veggies, my first thought was to share a little about mise en place. This deceptively simple cooking technique saves time and makes the cooking process smoother. Follow the links to find out more.

BrianneBritzius.com is Live!
Welcome to BrianneBritzius.com. Here is where you'll find my published print articles and online work from the past year and a half. Take a look around and get to know me.
For those of you who may have visited my old site, bbritzius.com, you may noticed a section is missing from this new incarnation. I've decided to retire my academic projects from my senior New Media class at UGA. I may resurrect them here one day when I feel like showing off.
If you're really dying to take a glimpse into my New Media past, you can check out my old school website here. Please be warned that I have not had access to this site in the intervening time so I apologize if there are any broken links. Hence, no clean up.
I'm always excited to meet new people and if you have any questions or are interested in working with me on your next writing project, head over to the contact page and shoot me an e-mail.

Atlanta Magazine Internship
I'm really excited to be working at Atlanta Magazine this fall as an editorial intern!
Basically our job is to fact check all of the stories in the magazine -- it may not seem big, but it's incredibly important for the mag's credibility and accountability.
I'll also look forward to seeing a real staff in production and being able to talk to people working right now in the industry.
My "first" issue is the October one, but check out the current content at www.atlantamagazine.com.
